" Saree: where grace meets tradition" - PAITHANI

Slaying in silk, draped in Paithani elegance. ..

The birthplace of the Paithani saree lies in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, specifically in the town of Yeola. This region boasts a rich textile heritage, and skilled artisans in Yeola have been crafting these exquisite sarees for generations.

Maharashtrian women often wear this saree during festivals and weddings. There are some similarities between this saree and Kanchipuram sarees in the South. The threads in Paithani sarees are sealed so they don't get entangled in accessories, as with Maharashtrian brides.

What type of jewelry suits a Paithani saree best? Traditional Maharashtrian jewelry, such as nath (nose ring), chandrakor bindi, and vaaki (armlet), complements the saree beautifully. Gold jewelry with intricate designs and traditional motifs is a classic choice.

Paithani evolved from a cotton base to a silk base. Silk was used in weft designs and in the borders, whereas cotton was used in the body of the fabric. Present day Paithani has no trace of cotton.

What is a Marathi Wedding Paithani Saree?

we all have a vivid idea about the typical Marathi Saree Style. Where the Saree is practically worn like a Dhoti pant. The beauty of this Saree lies around the original Maharashtrian Bride style. The Wedding Saree, here is a typical Nauveri Saree or a Nine-Yard long Saree. The normal Silk Saree styles are made within the range of five metres.

Cap Sleeve Wedding Marathi Paithani Blouse Designs

As a Wedding Marathi Paithani Blouse, it is not that high-end and is highly well-worked. But the main attraction of it lies with the back and front sleeves. The tailor has made the blouse’s sleeves look like a cap portion. This is also a half-sleeve blouse design, which is actually good for the wedding day.
